The Art Loft

The Art Loft, a contemporary art gallery located within the unique setting of a Volvo car showroom along Alexandra Road was officially launched on 7 November 2002 by Dr. Ho Kah Leong, Principal of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

Being the first car distributor to incorporate a theatre, full scale café, children's playroom and internet work stations to the showroom, it aims to provide visitors and customers a richer buying and ownership experience. The Art Loft was also created with this purpose in mind.

Overlooking the showroom, The Art Loft is filled with an international collection of contemporary art by a diverse group of artists from across the world, whose works illustrate various moods and emotions that symbolize life in its various forms. The paintings will be refreshed every month to give visitors a new experience each time they visit The Art Loft.

Gallery Review

Sunjin one of Singapore's leading contemporary art galleries specializing in artworks from across Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia and Indonesia.
Our unique and inviting main gallery space sits amidst a cluster of popular restaurants and shops in the vibrant neighbourhood of Holland Village.

Here at Sunjin, the traditional meets the progressive and the classic interplays with current trends.
From figurative paintings to abstract sculptures to mixed media installations and conceptual art, we are dedicated to promoting outstanding artworks from both established and upcoming talented artists, locally and abroad. Our collection includes works by Frank Stella, Jai, Zheng Yuande and Ahmad Zakii Anwar.

Appealing to a varied clientele, our gallery continually exhibits works of high distinction and diverse artistic styles, genres and cultural themes.
Established in 2000, the gallery has been inducted into the exclusive Singapore Art Galleries Association and is one of the leading purveyors of fine art to both private and institutional collectors.

Services

Art lovers can also look to our gallery for an array of quality services. We sell, rent and source for artworks, supply and manage commissioned pieces or project works for collectors, and undertake other art consultancy assignments. We also provide rental of exhibition space for artists and related events.

Sunjin has a decidedly global perspective and we are poised to be a key player in local and regional art markets. The gallery, with its developed network of strategic alliances with galleries, museums, associates and diplomatic agencies in the region, has also exhibited art from countries in Europe and Latin America.
