about :b gallery a new space for furthering design and contemporary culture.
:b gallery, located in a refurbished shophouse on River Valley Road, is Singapore‚s only independent design and new media space devoted to bring innovative design from around the world for the exchange of ideas with our local designers and public.
:b gallery does not collect works of art, rather concentrates its efforts on organsing fresh, far-reaching exhibitions that will keep the gallery at the bleeding-edge of the global creative circuit. Exhibitions held on a quarterly basis, aim to reflect various vehicles for creative expression, from design and graffiti to fashion and music, paying homage to established pioneers as much as we aim to identify and promote emerging talents and newfound creative breeds.
Since its conception earlier this year, the gallery aspires to evolve as a defining focal point in Singapore's cultural life. Our uniquely crafted space defies conventions of the gallery as a white box. Instead, reflects a grassroots approach to act as an intermediary between the artist and the audience, in an unrestrictive, intimate environment which will inspire the sharing of ideas amongst our audience.
:b gallery produces high quality exhibition books for the collector in all of us. Books will at select stores worldwide. The gallery also features a handpicked selection of designs most delectable and artists‚ exclusives, including DVDs, design t-shirts and collectible toys. If you're lusting from afar, purchases may also be conveniently made through our online store.
We welcome your interest, feedback and support, and look forward to hearing from you soon.
