Exchange 05: Artists, Artworks & Audiences - 7.30pm, 22 July 2005 (Fri)
The tripartite relationship between artists, artworks and audiences seems simple enough: artists create artworks which are then seen by audiences. However, there are many definitions, assumptions and complex negotiations that exist in this relationship. The invited speakers will highlight and reflect upon various examples from their practices.
Coordinated and moderated by Jennifer Teo, and featuring Susie Wong (Artist and Curator), Jason Lim (Artist and organiser of performance art events) and Audrey Wong (Artistic Co-director of The Substation).
