LabCulture Singapore 2005
Calling All Artists, Writers, Musicians, Performers, and other Creatives!(/p>

The Substation (Singapore) and PVA MediaLab (UK)invite you to be part of the first LABCULTURE SINGAPORE Residency Programme, 4-10 July 2005.

Do you want to create new work, realise your creative ideas or experiment with new ways of working within a supportive environment? Are you interested in engaging with new tools and creative technology?

Artists and practitioners from all creative disciplines are invited to send in their applications to be considered for LabCulture Singapore, a 7-day intensive residency. During the residency, a team of four UK-based ‘artist-facilitators’, with support by Singapore artists, will work with participants. Throughout the residency the focus is on research and development of new work. Collaboration and artform crossover is encouraged.

The participants can develop projects in digital video and audio production, web development, animation, interactivity and DVD authoring.

Previous experience within the field of New Media is not necessary, although a basic IT literacy is useful.

Closing date for applications is 20 May 2005.

Application guidelines and more details are attached.
Guidelines can also be found at: www.substation.org/substation/now/current/0705-labculture.html
