STOPOVER is a performance art event that creates a platform for the meeting of Japanese and Singaporean artists.

This event is programmed with the objective to create awareness and appreciation for performance art in Singapore. Besides encouraging cultural exchange and understanding through the event, STOPOVER also seeks to accentuate artistic practice, research and development of performance art.

The second leg of STOPOVER will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 29th May 2005 to 30 May 2005, at UBU, an alternative art space. UBU offers free tuition classes and philosophy classes to the public. Activisits from Foodnotboob also uses the lower kitchen to cook for the homeless.
