The European Media Art Festival, an
international forum for media art, will present a
programme in the area of tension between visions,
stories and crossovers. For five
days renowned artists, young talents and specialists
from the fields of culture, academia and economics
meet with a wide public audience in Osnabrück to
discover and experience
new artistic ideas and projects.
›Larger than life‹ is the motto of the festival
encompassing discussions and artistic reflections on
crossovers in the (bio-) sciences and on aesthetic
aspects and new technological
developments in media art. We invite media artists
to submit their experimental films and videos,
installations or nonlinear work on CD-ROM, DVD or
in the Internet by 8th January 2003 to contribute
to the programme of the festival
