CDL-Singapore Sculpture Award 2003

Create & Appreciate
CDL-Singapore Sculpture Award
Entry deadline: 26 March 2003
Exhibition: June 2003

Here’s an opportunity to create a sculpture design and vie for cash prizes of up to S$8,000. The CDL-Sculpture Award is set up to recognise and encourage creativity amongst youth and local artists in Sculpture, as well as promote the appreciation of this art form among the Singapore community. Winning marquettes will be displayed at a public exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum in June 2003. Competition is open to students and Singapore citizens/ Permanent Residents.

CDL – A Faithful Friend of the Arts
For the sixth year running CDL received the Friend of the Arts award 2002 from the National Arts Council in recognition of its contribution to the arts community.
CDL is honoured to be a Friend of the Arts. The Group is committed to developing the local arts scene and promoting outstanding foreign art to Singaporeans.


Giving the Arts a Boost: Sculpture Carnival 2002 (23 - 26 May)
In sponsoring Sculpture Carnival 2002, themed "Asian Folk Tales", CDL embraced the invaluable opportunity of educating and exposing so many children to 3-D art as a form of creative expression. Winning creations have been identified for a Sculpture Exhibition in August 02.
