CONTROL CHAOS





:phunk has been invited by The Reed Space to launch their inaugural exhibition in New York City.

The title of the exhibition is called Control Chaos. It is a place influenced by the pugilistic world of 80's Hong Kong TV serial.
Using :phunk's own visual vocabulary, the collective renders a dysfunctional/apocalyptic take on the classic tales of good
versus evil set in the backdrop of heaven, earth and hell.

:phunk has injected their distinctive style of illustration to create a giant mural that will cover the whole exhibition wall area
The mural is made up of 12 pieces of custom-designed canvases made from corrugated boxes. The limited edition artworks
are individually silkscreen printed.

Located on the lower east side, The Reed Space is a retail space/art gallery started by the people behind graphic design and
clothing label, Staple design. The space has showcased exhibitions by International artists such as Faile, Andrew Sutherland
and Tenmyouya Hisashi.
