Comments: Works by Lara Pang - Prat
A solo exhibition by local artist Lara Pang-Prat, currently based in Paris. After working in Visual Merchandising in Singapore, Lara Pang entered the Beaux-Arts in France. This led to the production of works that speak about issues related to immigration due to globalization. By exploiting the techniques and tools of Marketing and Communications, she also reflects on the fashion and consumer market. Her work ranges from conventional medium like photography to washing labels of T-shirts. They are used to question, explore and explain issues of cultural identity, material culture, origin, sex, inclusion and exclusion, immigration and globalization.
