Block 43 Studio Gallery. Contemporary Vietnam
Block 43 Studio Gallery, in collaboration with Mai Gallery Hanoi, presents an exhibition of contemporary art from Vietnam from May 20th until June 3rd.
The two week exhibition will showcase the work of seven young up and coming artists from the new generation, some with well-established reputations on the international art scene. All artists were trained at the celebrated Hanoi Fine Arts Academy and break with the traditions of decorative art that is often associated with Vietnam. Visitors to the exhibition will be delighted with the vibrancy, energy and originality of these artists’ paintings.
The seven artists that will be represented at the show include Nguyen Bao Ha, Nguyen Quang Huy, Nguyen Van Duc, Vu Than Nghi, Le Anh Quan, Dang Duc Thanh and Do Doan Bang. Opening times during the exhibition are Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 6.30 pm or by appointment.
