Fan Chang Tien is an influential ink painter of the xieyi Shanghai School in Singapore. Henri Chen, Nai Swee Leng, and Chua Ek Kay are some of his students became they became accomplished artists. In 1998, the show, the Art of Fan Chang Tien and his students, was held at the Singapore Art Museum, Singapore.
