H/AND is a story of hands, a story of encounters. It is a unique time-space where hands talk and tell life stories, honest stories in multiple forms.

H/AND is a collection of portraits taken during my random, improbable and sometimes exceptional encounters. Intimate portraits, images, prints, natural and indelible identity cards that allow people to take the time and the distance to discover themselves in this strange mirror.

My imaginary museum reunites personalities from diverse horizons such as Agnès B., Bartabas, Carolyn Carlson, Chen KeZhan, Elizabeth Choy, Violet Kwan, Jack Neo, Hedi Slimane, Russel Wong, as well as Hermès artisans.

H/AND is an on-going work over time, and the choice of black and white photography gives me the necessary added distance. A project with no chronology, no pre-established schedule, no obligations in the form of an inevitable list, no beginning, no end…an open story.
